Wagtail Space 2026 Call for Proposals is open! 📣

The call for proposals for Wagtail Space 2026 has been launched. We're working on building the rocket that we're all going to share this November. What that rocket looks like and where it will go ultimately depends on the talk ideas that you send us.
We had a lot of great variety last year with talk titles like:
- Wagtail in industry: from farming to finance
- Building Better Wagtail Sites: Traits of a Good CMS
- Wagtail and AI Agentic Coding
- Automated Data Loader: Wagtail for Weather Data Integration
- Sympa newsletters with Wagtail
This year, we're hoping to get a similar mix of high-level case study talks and technical deep dives. We're keen to see how people have been using AI in their Wagtail projects. We'd also love to see talks on two of our favorite ongoing themes: accessibility and sustainability. But we'd like to see talks on other themes at the top of people's minds, such as security, performance, and digital sovereignty.
The talks will be 25-minutes long and will be presented on 18 November and 19 November from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM GMT (check your time zone) each day. We're also open to you providing a recorded talk if that time really doesn't work for your time zone.
